Every few months I feel like I go through this process that goes something like this: I love what I’m doing but then I think about all the other things I could be doing (new ideas, projects, etc…) then I get overwhelmed, then I think “what am I doing with my life” and I wonder how I could parlay all of my crafty abilities into a job that doesn’t rest solely on my shoulders, and then I get excited again about what I’m doing. Does this sound familiar to any of you? I have a feeling that I’m not alone in this.
Sometimes during these times I like to focus on something that has nothing to do with crafts but it’s hard because I always like to keep my hands busy and sometimes it feels like I can’t turn creativity off (which I’m not complaining about by any means)! What things do you like to do when all 0f the creative things seem to be pushed aside by all the worries and technical things of running your own business? Thanks for listening everyone, I already feel better getting these things off my chest! Hope you have a great Monday!
I know just how you feel. I thought I was the only one! Thanks for putting it out there . . .
I’m sad to see you go, but I think your move to Chicago will be inspiring/open new doors/reveal new possibilities!
We’re all in this crazy crafty world/business together! Solidarity!
I get these waves too, it’s like an ongoing cycle. I found this great work book thing which has reall helped me focus and get some of my goals and targets reached.
It is by Dave Navarrow on how to get More Time Now ebook and its free! Have a look and let me know what you think 🙂 http://www.rockyourday.com/moretimenow/
